The idea...

The Ardorwen Cup is imagined to be a competition for riders to gain points in their age category with their horses throughout the year. Each riding pair (rider & their horse) can qualify through several Qualifier competitions throughout the year either by placing in the top three spots, or by accumulating enough overall year points to gain a wildcard ticket to the Finals.

The Ardorwen Cup is currently held only on the Equality Sims Discord server. If you want to participate, but you're not a member, you can join here, but keep in mind they accept new members each 1st of the month.

General rules

Since the beginning of 2023 registration for these shows is required, but there are no entry limits per member.

Each rider can enter with multiple horses, but can only choose one to take to the Finals if they are qualified with more than one horse in their age category.

Only the qualified riders are invited to the Finals (held in January each year) and the winner of the Finals is crowned the season Age Division Champion, not the rider with the most Leaderboard points. Riding pairs which did not Qualify to the Finals are still more than welcome to enter the Open classes.

Riders with most Leaderboard points are awarded the Highscore award.

Everyone is welcome to enter the Open classes, regardless of rider age, as those are more for fun and experience for your horses and riders. Riders are still awarded points, ribbons and trophies for best performances.
